This game is played with 6 decks of 52 cards.
Four single bets can be placed in the relevant areas on the right hand side of the table: Red, Black, Couleur and Inverse. All four bets are paid even money.
The value of the cards is as follows:
Aces = 1
Face cards = 10
All the other cards have their nominal value.
As the game starts, two rows of cards are lined up. The total of each row must be more than 30 and less than 40. The closest row to 30 (Red or Black), or simply the lowest score, wins.
The first card in the first row determines the outcome of bets on Couleur and Inverse. Therefore, a bet on Couleur wins if the first card of the first row is the same colour as the winning row. A bet on Inverse wins if the first card of the first row is not the same colour as the winning row.
If both rows add up to the same total, between 32 and 40, the game results in a tie and the stake on Black, Red, Couleur and Inverse is returned.
If both rows add up to 31, players will lose half of their stake on Black, Red, Couleur and Inverse.
Special bets
On the left hand side of the table, the special bets allow you to bet on the result of each row. Special bets are not dependent on the outcome of the winning row.
PLace your bet on Odd, if you think the total of the row will be an odd number, or Even, if you think it will be even. High if you expect the total of the row to be higher than 35, Low if you expect it to be lower than 36.
You can also bet on the exact total of each row over 30 (between 31 and 40). For example, if you think the row’s total will be 34 place your bet on 4; place your bet on 10 if you think the total will be 40.
