Regular Play

Both the Player and the Dealer are dealt a single card face-up. Whoever has the highest card wins.
In the event of a tie, the player may surrender and end the game, or go to war to continue play and settle the tie.
If the player chooses to surrender, 1/2 of his stake is returned.
If the player chooses to go to war, his original bet is doubled (War bet) and the War round begins.

Three additional cards - which have no value - are dealt face down and a final forth face-up card is deal to both the Dealer and the Player.
